3.4.1. Rôle

Rendre un objet itérable et le faire apparaître comme une collection d’objets.

3.4.2. Exemples

  • Si un fichier et chacune de ses lignes sont représentées sous form d’objet, Iterator permet de parcourir le fichier.

3.4.3. Note

La bibliothèque standard de PHP (SPL) définit une interface Iterator qui est la mieux adaptée pour cela ! Souvent vous voudrez implémenter l’interface Countable aussi, pour permettre count($object) sur votre objet itérable.
